Companion
Services are home based supervision and activities
would assist and or instruct an individual in a safe environment
when the person is unable to do so – they provide a safe
and comfortable environment with phone calls & correspondences
– provide recreation activities and friendly conversation,
assist with errands, supervise activities as directed such as
taking medications, etc; can provide transport of client to
physician, activities, post hospital release including pickup
of medicines & getting client settled at home etc. Other
duties are meal prep, planning, shopping, light housekeeping.
Homemaker Services
are general activities provided to assist and or instruct
an individual in managing their home – they provide
meal preparation, planning, shopping, making schedules, laundry,
vacuuming, dusting, changing beds, washing dishes, washing
windows, washing floors, transport of client to and from physician,
post hospital release, shopping visits, & social events.
Personal Care
services include everything our homemaker
services provide and additionally this service directly assists
individuals in good and stable condition. Duties are maintain
medicinal schedules, bathing, feeding, toileting activities,
meal prep, plan shopping, errands, laundry, vacuuming, dusting,
changing linens, washing dishes, washing windows, wishing
floors, provides transport of client to physician, shopping,
etc. * A Doctor’s note must be provided stating that
the patient is in good condition & stable
Live-In Companion
Services provide 24 hour, round the clock
supervision with continuous monitoring and coordinated living.
We can delay or prevent institutionalization for many clients
with this service. Duties include providing a safe, comfortable
and stable home environment. We assist with phone calls, social
and recreational activities. We assist, supervise and monitor
an individual during their daily activities such as: meal
preparation, dressing, personal hygiene, laundry and assist
the client to maintain at home safely in their basic home
routines. We also maintain personal evening/nighttime monitoring
to ensure their continued safety and also coordinate physician
or therapy appointments & maintain medicinal schedules
as directed by their physician.
Personal
Emergency Response System
– Our Guardian Angels on call 24/7 with the push of
a button. We have the edge in technology with our 2-way Guardian
Angel Emergency Response units. With either a bracelet or
pendant push button our unit covers 550 feet in clear voice
to Help as you need it, 24 hours & 7 days a week. Soft
touch push buttons are available. Medicine Reminders and dispensing
systems are also available as well as smoke detectors, auto
tests and check-ins.
Reiki
& Aromatherapy
- A Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master who is available, by appointment,
for home visits. For those clients who find Reiki massage
or Aromatherapy helpful for relaxation we bring these alternative
healing methods to the client in their home setting.
Pet
Therapy
- Our
Pet Therapy dog, Millie, is a big hit with our clients and
she is definitely our most popular employee. Millie exemplifies
the caring difference in our company – she truly loves
people and for those who are homebound and no longer have
a pet of their own, her visits are treasured. Millie receives
Christmas and Birthday cards (April 1st for all her fans)
from her friends and is always eager to visit those who request
her presence.
